Cahaya means “light” in Malay and Indonesian — the warm, easy light we want every stay to feel like. Our mark is the scallop shell, the same one stitched onto the towels in every villa.

We look after four private villas in Kutch: two beach villas in Mandvi and two garden villas in Bhuj. Every booking gets the whole villa, breakfast every day, and a caretaker at the villa through the day.
Cahaya began with a simple belief: Kutch deserves stays as considered as the place itself. Quiet villas, unhurried mornings, and people nearby who know the land. We keep it small on purpose, so every stay gets our full attention.
